Last Tuesday we met again in a videoconference with our Polish friends from the Sp46 school in Czestochowa. On this occasion we wanted to welcome spring, telling how we were working this event in both schools.

The students of the Sp46 school sang and danced songs they had prepared for the occasion, and they also told us about the celebrations they had made during the first days of May as a tribute to their flag and its first constitution, approved in 1791 and also considered the first in Europe.

Our students showed them the work they had done with wool for the arrival of spring, and they also explained the social work carried out by the Association "Ia Iaia", with which we are collaborating by donating all the balls not used. Finally, we also told them about our collaboration with "Save the Children", participating in a charity race to raise funds and help mitigate the effects of hunger in South Sudan.

We had a great time, we hope we can share many more moments in the future!

Last day in the "Scuola primaria Arcobaleno"

In our last day in Lodi, we come to visit the Scuola Arcobaleno with our friend Gianfranca. She introduced us in some classrooms, where we talked to them in English and they did it very well. All the classrooms are always open and it is very common to go to the big corridors to to some classes too.

Cristina Passerini, the "Potenciata" project coordinator (special students with severe dissabilities) shows us their teaching methods, places and material specially designed for those students. Later on, we are invited to participate in a body expression workshops for these students and also for  a group of year 5 students (they take turns to do it). This is a really beautiful and impressive experience and through different music the teacher create a really special atmosphere of expression, participation and inclusion among everybody in the group.

What we liked the most is the real inclusion atmosphere, the door decoration and the beautiful painting all around the corridors in the school.

Finally we want to thank gratefully to Gianfranca, Francesca, Daniele, Carla Stefania, Cristina, Linda, Ivano and all other teachers in all the schools we have visited for their kindness and availability in giving us their best smiles and everything they had. Thanks a lot for your welcoming and for your wise. You have helped us to put Lodi in our map.
